Whoever has the final say on Offensive play calling/philosophy.

I understand wanting to have a running game that can control time of possession when you are ahead, and keep the ball away from the other team - but that is 4th quarter stuff.

The NFL keeps changing the rules to favor the passing game, but Singletary/Raye clearly don't grasp this concept.

THIS
The whole team just played horrible once they didn't get a TD after all those TD drives.

We had 2 chances for TD's....Morgan and Norris. Thats a shame
LOL. Is this a real question? Without an elite QB. This is what were gonna get. Kilgore I would love to hear the excuses for this. O-Line, Defense, wrong routes, sun in the eyes of Smith. You fans are a joke! As bad as Raider fans. Buy the pre season hype. Im waiting for Carr. Then we will go 9-7 in a weak division. Hope your happy with another wasted year. CLOWNS!!
This team is going to be a waste of talent unless someone with a brain starts calling plays and the team gets a QB who can compete against players not in the Mountain West Conference.
All I can say is I'm tired of seeing Alex Smith Roll to his right. Run FORWARD!!!!!! for once... Also, he is so off the mark it's pathetic. Are the WR's not able to get open? This O-Line looks weak! I'm thinking they just are not prepared for this game and they look sluggish.
What in the world is wrong with our OL. Even Staley getting dominated by Clemons!

Very obvious Crabtree missed preseason. Dropped pass for INT, doesn't settle in zone results in INT!

Smith very uncomfortable in pocket for most of game.

Horrible play-calling/adjustments.

Entire team sh*t the bed.

this o line has been pathethic and from what i can see WR are not getting open at all
jowever this doesnt excuse alex i expected a lot better
Starts at the top. Jed York

I posted this in game thread but will repeat it here

OC, Alex, Crabtree and DBs get the blame from me.

Plays consistently LATE and burning through our TOs in the first half for no reason. When Seattle started stacking to stop the run we didn't take any shots down field in the 1st half to loosen them up. No Davis seam or Ginn fly patterns until 4th quarter.

Alex fell apart and reverted to his inaccurate high throws in the 2nd half. He was good in the 1st half.

Crabtree is rusty and was the target on both INTs. The first he took his eyes off and the second he potentially ran the wrong route and didn't adjust to the zone defense

DBs gambled and had their collective heads up their rear. Nate bit on a route. Brown bit on a route (when it appeared a LB had the zone and shifted over to cover it anyways). Spencer didn't play like he knew a blitz was on that would force a quick throw and had his back to the QB the entire time. All 3 of those resulted in quick and easy TDs.

Oh...and that BS penalty to give SEA their first 1st down when the WR held Nate was a joke...

You're calling real fans jokes? Alex Smith didn't play too hot, but there was a lot more wrong than him and if you put Carr in the game this team would be as potent as a 92 year old porn star.
Alex Smith, first and foremost, missed open receivers when there was no pressure, and completely disappeared when the when the pressure came.
Second Nate Clements and Terrel Brown jumping routes and allowing touchdowns.
Maybe a miracle will occur and we will beat the Saints, but I rather doubt it!
Oh and I know nobody still thinks we should have drafted Aaron Rogers who is struggling in GB, Right?

the funny thing is he should have 2 TDS one was morgans fault second is a combination of alexs and norris fault

after the 1st qyarter our whole team gave up

NO the second was all smiths fault. Threw way to high to a fullback. Then under threw ginn. Captain Checkdown. 192 yds on 39 attempts is pathetic. Still no touch and no accuracy
17 rushes for 38 yards is a great game for gore is it not what about that until you look at all the stats don't just blame the qb. His just the most convenient target for some.
