This is basically how I heard the exchange . . . paraphrased.
MM: "With respect to Nate Davis what is his status on the 53 man, is it in question or in your mind is he definitely on the 53 man?"
MS: "It's a question. It will be a topic of conversation tomorrow."
MM: "What was it that you saw that leads you to question his status on the 53 man?"
MS: "Look at your notes from last week . . . it's the same stuff."
Another Reporter: "Might you go with two QB's?"
MS: "It's a possibility . . . it will be a topic of conversation tomorrow."

I think he already did that.
Like I said in another thread, give Nate Davis some talent that will at least make the roster, and he'd look 10x better than he did tonight. Who was he throwing to? Guys that don't have a chance. How many times did they drop the pass? How about the O-line he was working with - guys that will be out of a job by this time next week.
