Jaws has always been known as one of Alex Smith's biggest critics!

What he said is true. From the way he uses his eyes to his presence in the pocket, he looks much improved. I think it was actually those two things that held him back for quite awhile.

Before when? He made multiple plays like that last season. Hell, he even made plays like that in 2006.

I gotta agree with him. My only concern with Smith is his deep ball. Can he throw it accurately?

in practice we can but in games we have to wait no way ginn can beat a number 1 CB but he should be able to beat those number 3 corners just fine

I thought that has always been his strong point, correct me if im wrong but i thought the knock on him was his accuracy on the short throws not on the long

What we're seeing so far is just the tip of the iceberg...when Alex gets all his weapons on the field, everyone will see what he can really do. Our running game should be stout...the addition of Iupati and Davis on the OL will pay off big-time. That, and Norris leading Gore into the hole should be money. So will Byham...who's a stud TE and can also play FB/HB. With Crabtree, Vernon, Morgan, Ginn, Zeigler to throw to, Alex will make plays, and our offense will finally take off.

With either Crabtree and V. Davis in the game, I'm sure Ginn can get open easily. Davis has to be double-covered!

Im not sure Ginn had trouble beating #1 corners, i think it was more a problem of holding on to the catch once the ball got there
