What kind of receiver will Crabtree be?

receiver is the position that Crabtree plays, So for me, I brought him to the San Francisco 49ers jerseys , because 49ers is the best team for Receiver, Jerry Rice was the legend of Receiver from the 49ers.

I think he was a great college receiver. I did not see him creating good separation nor YAC/RAC last year, but hopefully, with an actual training camp under his belt, that will change this year and we can actually answer the question.

I agree with what you are saying but it's also apparent how high our expectations are as 49er fans. John Taylor was a #1 receiver talent, but because we had JR, he was a #2. Crabtree can be as good as John Taylor if he continues to work hard, but JT had an uncanny ability to easily shed tackles, which I have yet to see with Crabtree. He clearly has the potential though, but I see him more in the mold of Tim Brown than JT. At least, we finally have a high caliber, respectable receiver again.

I think our offense will limit his production. It just doesn't lend itself to big plays. IMO, his role will make him compare favorably to Hines Ward.

Reminds me a lot of Iheanyi Uwaezuoke in his prime.
