"Ask if he still backed Raye's approach 100 percent, Singletary went 50 percent further. "I 150 percent back what he's doing," he said. "Absolutely. There's not one iota that I'm wavering here or there." Singletary did concede that Raye is still in the process of learning what his players do best, and thus the offense is still evolving."

Of course. I didn't expect him to say anything different. Singletary and Raye are in a battle to see who is more stubborn.

What did you expect him to say?
Did you expect him to throw Raye, who he hired, under the bus?

If Sing is a man of his word, we should expect him to hold anyone in the organization accountable for a lack of performance.
Does this mean he would publicly air this about Raye? No -- really he shouldn't.
Hopefully, things are being said behind the scenes that we will never know about except through changes in what happens on the field.

Yeah you may have a point.
I remember Nolan backed Hostler and then promptly fired him at the end of the season.
I dunno, I guess i'm just wanting to see something different.

If Raye is fired he would be replaced with a guy that has the same philosophy. Raye is doing what Sings wants him to do. I'm sure Sing wants him to game plan better but they share the same philopshy and mentality when it comes to offensive football. they aren't gonna adjust to the poor run blocking they will continue to hammer it in there folks. Only time you gonna see this so called spread is in hurry up situations.
