How can we expect improvement when Singletary and Raye refuse to utilize our offensive linemen in different ways.
Again, Rachal had an awful game. He is horrible in pass protection, and he's barely average in run blocking. The run Gore had was all Gore and some of Heitmann.
Sims, I admit, had a pretty good game against Freeney. Hopefully, Staley will be healthy next week, and I hope Sims starts at RT.
Snyder again showed why he belongs on the bench. Singletary needs to stop looking into his player's eyes and more on their on-field performance.
This is prob. our best lineup that will help Smith against the Titans.
Why haven't we seen a Snyder (G)/Simms(T) tackle combination with Pashos out? Chilo seems to be getting beat down every weak. Does that simply mean the coaches don't have faith in Simms' ability to play tackle?

Singletary more or less refused to answer that question this week. Reporters asked if he had considered Sims or Wragge, the coach just said "no" and left it at that. Attempts to get elaboration fell flat. The unspoken message is that the 49ers have faith in Rachal. There is indeed potential there, but Rachal has really, really been slumping there. They're going to have to consider your ideas soon if Rachal doesn't snap out of it.
Just how much faith can you give Rachal when he constantly fails.
