ill put it like this then.. lol

if we win, we HAVE to put up 30+ points. EVEN if the DEF does well, they will atleast score around 20.. Thats why i put 34-27..

if we lose, we will struggle on offense, score no more than 20 points, and our D will be on the field alot and get thrashed by Manning.. 20-38..

Modestly, I see Alex Smith getting possibly more than one passing TD and maybe even a scrambling dive past the pylon. -And for some strange reason I foresee a 40 yard Brandon Jones bomb 50 seconds before halftime.

Yeah.... I would hate to see our D give up 40+ points but am realistic. I'd love to see a shootout even if we lose as disappointing as it still would be I'd feel we are headed in the right direction on offense.

I love the optimism. And the stats I like too -- but I'll go with Frank with one less TD and Crabtree with it instead.

But the score will be 35-28 Colts. I really don't see us beating the best team in the NFL. I am not counting us out, but I am not getting my hopes up. I just want us to play good and keep it close and exciting!

Seriously though, the Colts are probably slightly overrated. They haven't even played anyone with a winning record (at the time of the game). The Cardinals are the only team who have a winning record as of today (4-2), but when they played them, the Cardinals weren't at their best.

The Saints, however, have beaten good teams. They've destroyed everyone, even the Giants.

Yes, we'll probably lose against the Colts, but I don't think it'll be as one-sided as most people think.

For some reason, I see a lot of field goals coming.
