if smith doesnt start im going to be shocked. he had more yards than hill in two throws. the whole team responded when smith came in

Yeah, he just doesn't want to admit it yet. I like morgan to get time at both the #2 spot and slot because he can be a mismatch and sooner than later he will take Bruce spot.

you know that is a bunch of b.s. coach sing ain't stupid. i bet deep deep down inside he wants a. smith to do it. like he or someone in the organization has said, smith has more upside & the better arm & younger. if he's bout the team then he has almost no choice.

The definition of STUPIDITY is "doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results". It's time for a change. It took all of the other NFL teams 3 weeks to figure out how to stop us cold. If we don't adapt (qb who can throw) we will perish.

There shouldnt be any indecision here, Smith showed more in this one half as Hill did in the previous 5 games.

Alex Smith needs to start the rest of the year, Shaun Hill is a good backup nothing more. Now if Alex doesnt succeed the rest of this year, at the end of the year cut him or trade him and move on and either draft a QB, or go after one in free agency or trade.
But enough of Shauan Hill. At least with Alex we can attempt to throw the ball downfield to Crabtree and VD

Wait just a minute. Why should Sing make a decision now? Let it be a mystery for as long as it can stay a mystery. Why should he show his hand to the colts and the rest of the league? So the colts can game plan for Smith or Hill next Sunday?

I dont think Singletary can afford to not start Smith. These fans are tired of a losing team that cant produce offensively. He pulled the trigger when he benched JTO, and Hill started the very next week. I think he does the same thing this year, except Hill will be the one riding the pine.

Smith is gonna be the starter, Sing hasn't announced it yet cause he needs to sit Hill down and explain it to him.
-There's an emotional side to this game, and as you've noticed with Singletary he tends to sit 2 players down in the position battle (a week before the game) and explain his decision so there's no hard feelings/distrust between him and his family.

This is exactly what's happening guys, calm down. He's just doing it the right way, you should not tell a player he's benched through the media, its classless.
