Baas, Rachal are both playing horrible right now. I would place Baas squarely in the bust category given where he was drafted. Hasn't been healthy one year since being drafted.
Balmer is a bust right now in my mind.
Jones - it's hard to see his value when the Baas/Rachal suck so bad.
You can't call a OL or DL a bust after 2 years the 3rd year is when they usually start to blossom as players. Balmer is in a rotation right now and isn't even playing every down so he needs time to progress. Same with Rachel he's started what 11-13 games? I agree Baas has sucked he's the best LG we got right now he's a FA after the season if he doesn't get it together either sign a FA or spend a 2nd round pick on a LG.

Bryant was a great pickup. Nolan was just an idiot and let him go.
You forgot D-Jax though.

Exactly. Although he's not real pretty doing it, he's been real safe back there without turning over the ball.

Did you see the what-should-have-been 56 yard TD pass that Hill dropped right into Morgan's basket? He's capable of taking it vertical.

No I didn't I almost put him in too, but I think he was a trade with Seattle

Good free agent pickups, and the draft choices are starting to mature and come into their own. So I think Scottie Mc has done a good job, Manusky has done well, and Raye is winning enough to cover his defects.

Norv was actually the pusher in getting Shaun Hill here to SF. He actually liked him out of college, but Mike Tice beat him to it in getting him in Minnesota. When he was let go in Minn, Norv saw it as an opportunity to get him with the niners.

Oh, I nearly cried when I saw that. Hill tosses it up and the crowd goes quiet, and then morgan drops it... sigh from the crowd. It would have totally erupted if he caught that one.
Back to the topic though, we have made some great acquisitions with JSmith, NClements, MLewis, among others... don't forget Hill!

That was the irony of it you know:
1. Hill throws a beautiful arcing pinpoint perfect deep ball right into Morgan's butter fingered basket and Morgan drops it.
2. Hill throws a wobbly wounded duck and Morgan reels it in for a TD.
The pass that Morgan dropped was seriously a great pass though....Hill's haters will have you know that there is no possible way he could throw that ball, and yet he did and has done so before.

And how many Niners dropped balls yesterday...catchable balls too?
Davis (big drop in the first quarter to blow another 3rd down conversion)
Coffee (2-3 drops, guy is a poor receiver...in fact I'm not really sure what he's supposed to be good at))
Bruce (doesn't he drop at least one every week?)
