If you're gonna go to a game and sit might as well watch it at home. We kept standing but that guy called security on us and they made us sit down we kept standing and security came and told us to sit down 3 times. As long as we have fans that are just going to sit there the stick will never be as loud as other stadiums.

I still got loud as hell i barely got my full voice back 2 days ago.

I think that is BS. Next time call security on them for harassing you to sit down.

Turn it around on them. Tell Security they are ruining the game experience for you.

Can i really do that? if i can then if someone tells me to sit down for next sundays game i'm going to call security on them!

There is nothing in the rules that say you have to sit in your seat. I went to a playoff game in SD once and I had to stand the whole time. Its your seat and I wish someone would tell me to sit down and stop cheering. I would have their ass. Its your seat and your dollar. To be honest there is nothing they can do to you so you might as well get your monies worth. Its your dime, If they want a nice quite view tell them to watch the game at home. I wouldnt put up with this s**t at all. Im a pretty big guy though and I look the part so I doubt anyone would say anything to me. How about you just ignore them and enjoy the game the best you can!

Bulls**t! Unless you are being a drunk they will not mess with you for being an overzealous fan. Thats what they want. If they do mess with you then calmly ask to speak with their supperior. Take it to the top. All you are doing is supporting your team as you should. In the end they cant kick you out for being a supportive fan. Wont happen!

It will happen and it does happen. A friend of mine was kicked out of a game last season for cheering. The guy behind him kept texting security. He doesn't drink so he wasn't drunk. He was just standing and rooting for the team when the guy wanted to sit down. He was asked to sit down by security. When he told them he paid good money to watch the game and wants to cheer his team on. They removed him from the game and escorted him to an exit.

Perhaps if you are a moron and rub the powers to be the wrong way you might get kicked out. But to say you get kicked out for cheering is ludacris. Unless you are a drunk trouble maker!

Okay, I've been wondering why the niner organization hasn't gone out of their way to push fans to be loud. Jed York needs to send out a letter and publish a serious video on 49ers.com telling fans that the organization is turning over a new leaf in more ways than one which includes Candlestick Parking being known of one of the loudest stadiums in the NFL. He then should invite every fan to have a share in becoming the 12th man on the field. I think with the right kind of marketing strategy they could get fans more involved and at more character to the stadium by doing so. Now is especially the time to get the ball rolling in this area while the niners are winning and Mike Singletary is the coach.

Also, when other teams score (Vikings & Bucs) they have something heard. I was thinking after the Niners score a Trolley Bell should ring. That would be pretty cool.

What's your thoughts?

I agree 100%, we need to do somthing about our lame fans at the Stick. I was told to sit down once this last game vs. the seahawks and I just turned around told the fans to stand up and make Noise no sitting today and it worked. Im thinking for the next game I will make some signs that say GET LOUD and NOISE and pass them around the Stick to fans that will use them and maybe it will help.

Lets get the STICK LOUD!!!

GO NINERS!!!

That is one of the most ridiculous things I have ever heard.
The home opener was a disappointment as far as the crowd goes... the stadium wasnt even near full. What the hell is up with that. It was also one of the quieter games I had been to. I was sitting in the east stands and it was just embarrassing. They had a great view but the experience wasnt as nice. The people behind us only stood twice, on both gore td's. they eventually moved because they couldnt see over us. I'm glad they didnt call security. Both endzones were cheering their hearts out... but not our side. bunch of old rich yuppy pigs
Sorry to say this, for all the fans in San Francisco, but once we have a stadium in Santa Clara, those fans will be the loudest in the NFL. Just as the San Jose Sharks fans are the loudest in the NHL.

How did this thread not come up in the search?

Or did you not search before you started a thread?
It was pretty loud during the Seahawks game. This is only my second year as a season ticket holder, but I feel this game was probably the loudest of the ones I have been to.
