Yes, we beat him last year, when he was playing with a battered arm (although the Jets wouldnt let anyone know); the only other time we could overcome his "reign" over us was with a HOF QB throwing to a HOF WR in the final seconds of a playoff game.

Brett Farve is still dealing with a partially torn rotator cuff, he is not what he has been in the past, and the best wideout that he has is an unproven rookie. We will stack the box and play man to man on the outside and probably will blitz him some, but not every down. By the way, the Vikings line has struggled pass blocking so far this year, we might get the chance to put a hurting on a QB two weeks in a row.

Favre WAS a Niner Killer. Now? Not so much. I'll take my chances if the game comes down to our D against his arm/brain.

I've watched the first two Vikings Games, Favres mobility is nothing like it once was, if we can take away Peterson and Harvin we can make life difficult for him on sunday
