Do we win today if Alex Smith Starts?

Everyone saying Alex Smith would've failed need to go back as far as 2007 and the first game of that season.

The drive that Smith did given how the offensive line was playing and what receivers he had at his disposal was more impressive than what Hill did.

Having said that why is it people can't just enjoy the win? Why the need to ask stupid questions for which we don't need to know the answers?

Defense won this game...we probably could have pulled and plugged anyone on the offense without changing this outcome.

Not sure he would have won it but he probably wouldn't have lost it either.
