I think we all saw why Hill is starting while Smith is fetching Gatorades for the coaching staff. Even though Hill was no superstar, he made the plays when it counted. Alex Smith, on the other hand............well, of the 4-5 3rd downs we faced on that final 80 yard drive........Im sure he wouldve played it safe tossed it out of bounds on any of those occasions.
Of course, then everyone would be touting how a 9/16 for 101 yards with an 80 QB rating is awesome, even though we would have lost 16-3.
Yay for Hill.
