Bears just beat the Seakawks by constantly blitzing Seattle on their last drive....forced an incompletion by Seneca Wallace on a 4th and 2 on the Bears 30 with 2 secs left (Seachickens had like 2 timeouts remaining)

Lets go 3-1 next week and rebound from this
I'm still gonna be pissed till at least Wednesday.
^This, I love how we played defensively but we need to finish teams while we are on offense.

That's the only "highlight" I've seen so far. What a pathetic effort by Roman on that play. Weak POS...

You guys are morons if you blame raye. The Viking had 3 TO and the niners ran plays to make them burn them. an incomplete pass stops the clock. This loss is solely on the defense
not the point you at least try to get the first u dnt just give up and give them the win. we blew it that last drive with out playcalling plain and simple man.
And if Hills threw a pick you guys would be all over Raye regardless. Straight hatin!
no thats the play you make to win ask any winning head coach and they would have thrown for the first thats how u win close games. you can win if you dnt try to win.
A team that has a s**tty defense would throw it on 3rd down. Ask any GOOD coach in the league.
BS man. You don;t go for no f**king kill when you have a 4 point lead, with 1 minute left, with a defense that has pitched a shutout the entire second half. You protect the ball and put the defense back on the field when they have playing that well for the prior 29 minutes, ESPECIALLY with a 4 point lead. (the other team needing a TD to win).
If you think giving Brett Favre the ball on the 20 with over a minute and playing prevent is the answer.....then i guess you just got proven wrong.
Your out to lunch on this one pal. I will explain why: If you think the offense can all of a sudden, convert a third down after having failed to convert what 90% of the opportunities prior, your out to lunch. Would you not agree that it is reasonable to expect an offense that has only converted 5% of it's first down opportunities to essentially have about a 5% chance of making it? So you would have a bout a 5% chance, in a passing situation, backed up in their terroority, against a team that has been harassing the s**t of your QB all day, agaisnt a team that is desperate to get their hands on that ball, make a big ass turnover, at all costs?
obviously you aren't understanding me.
give hill the opportunity to rollout off of a playaction. if there isnt any reciever cleary open, he can take a sack and it would have been the same as what we did, which is burn their timeout.
it's really not that hard.
There are ENTIRELY too many variables. What if someone rips the ball loose when they sack him? What if he tries to throw it away and it gets picked? What if someone blows through the line on the weak side and he doesn't see it coming?
The defense is this team's strong point. Why in the world wouldn't you let them win the game for you? I'm sorry but no one was confident today with the offense converting a third down. Taking a chance like that and something bad happening is much more likely.
what if, what if, what if. damn dude this is football. By your logic we should have just kneeled down 3 times.

yep, all it would have took was one single first down on the final drive, but as I said, it wasn't meant to be, lets go 3-1 next week

Mark Roman blew this game, not Raye.
Smartest thing I've heard in this thread. Thank you James.
Its the truth. Sure, Raye could have called some better plays..but plain and simple we were winning 24-20 and Favre made a miracle play on Roman blowing a coverage.
Knock that pass down, the 49ers are 3-0.
I find it funny that only certain players/ coaches are allowed to be blamed for the loss. You can't touch Manusky but Roman's on the scapegoat list so we will blame him.
As Dungy pointed out that last play was a terrible play for that situation. If you're going to blame someone for that last play it should be him.

That was not a catch dude was out! reverse angle (show one on tv) made it clear!
Of course it should never come that close, we were clearly the better team today!
