Thanks so much Marvin.. that was awesome. I think people are getting down about the outside of the stadium look but for the most part what does it matter? I think what makes it revolutionary is the solar panels, the greenery... it will save a lot of money on electricity... also the inside looks marvelous... I agree the outside might be a bit blah but we have yet to see it in full scale. They might add a lot of extras... I would think the average person should care more about the inside and the seating than the outside look which is just steel anyways. Plus with Gideon Yu you have to figure the technology in the stadium will be advanced as well. A lot of little things will make it great...

Also with this picture does it look like the players will walk past the fans like in the new Cowboys stadium? And also does anyone recall if they are putting in real grass?

Yea if you look at the one page that talks about the Legacy Club Level. Says one you'll be right there as players go to/from locker room for 49ers and other side for the visiting team.

Guess I should have read more... I read the page where the picture was on... maybe they should have put the picture next to what they wrote about seeing the players walk onto the field. Anyways, thanks. That is one really cool idea I like about the new Cowboys stadium. It was cool how the Cowboys started without having to put glass up but eventually put glass up like we will probably start with. A little bit different than walking through a dugout for the players. Awesome... I will be floating on cloud 9 when this gets done and especially on opening day/night. Probably will never go though... being in Wisconsin. Don't really ever travel.

I believe they are putting in the same type of turf they have on the practice fields. Great job with the pictures and info to Marvin!

You would think they would put grass with all the go GREEN talk.. I havent seen where they said anything about it..

The outside of the stadium looks like a bunch of giant tooth picks. That's the only gig it has.

I hope they use that green tinted glass, that looks sharp as hell. They should also use some bricks in the front instead of the tooth pics.
