All the details you could ever want about the design of the new Santa Clara Stadium... It looks like they actually moved the site tho. It was supposed to be on the other side of that creek (the treeline in the lower left of the first pic). They moved it right next to the existing 49ers Facility....4949 Centennial. It now looks like one big complex. I know there are alot of people who don't like it because it kinda bland, but I personally like it. It reminds me of Lincoln Financial in Philli. On Tuesday, Santa Clara officials are expected to sign off on the final budget, funding plan and lease.

Also San Jose Earthquakes. Although not a big deal, but its a plus for new stadiums in the Bay Area.

Anyone been driving by or seen any updated photos online? Are they making headway with the moving of the underground wires/etc?

If you go back a couple of pages I think someone posted some recent pics of the prep work being done.

Supposedly there will be some technology that isn't even due to be fully unveiled until 2013. Looking forward to seeing what it is.
