All the details you could ever want about the design of the new Santa Clara Stadium... It looks like they actually moved the site tho. It was supposed to be on the other side of that creek (the treeline in the lower left of the first pic). They moved it right next to the existing 49ers Facility....4949 Centennial. It now looks like one big complex. I know there are alot of people who don't like it because it kinda bland, but I personally like it. It reminds me of Lincoln Financial in Philli. Just saw this on the new stadium page.

It won't be live for a few months, but if anyone wants to see live views of the stadium, thats where you will find it. ;-) It says it will go live at the Groundbreaking.

I know its going to be ugly . . . just trying to brace myself. . . . Not looking forward to walking out of there, no longer a season ticket holding 9er fan. Pretty sure I'm going to have to go from 4 seats to 2 . . . . at best.

I will miss the aura of the Stick and the great views from the parking lot looking at the stadium. It's just a great shot and love going to the city before and after games. It's the overall experience for any 49ers fan that hasn't never been to a game.

I don't know about the new stadium and how it's going to be on land rather than next to the bay.

...most likely and NFL themed Theme Park. That'll probably be an announcement coming down the road.

A friend of mine is a Season Ticket holder and got the Stadium Brochure in advance to his meeting with the salesmen about SBLs. He scanned the brochure (thanx again) and sent it to me. I'm attaching it all here below...
