He is prolly the worst free safety or close too we have ever had. whens the last time he got a pick? and he is a free safety, thats his main requirement to get picks.

[Sorry, the whole capital "O" thing was getting to me. And while I was in there I decided that I would add your missing apostrophe in "hasn't." Just lookin' out]

I don't think we will cut him, we'll keep him as a backup.

Just you wait till the sign Vick threads start again.
Because we don't have a better replacement lined up yet, and the front office wouldn't get rid of someone until. . .Oh that's right. . .
becuae we dont even have a OC yet, roman is the least of our worries right now

Were working a trade. Him and Franklin for Denvers 1st round pick.
Nolan needs to implement his D

You do not make cuts until you have a replacement.
He'll become a "free" safety as soon as the 49ers put him on waivers.
As much as I may dislike it, I bet he still starts in 09'. Unless we acquire a huge FA or draft pick, Roman will probably be around another year. If anything, at least for some depth.
Uh, because Roman is the best FS on the roster, sad as that might seem. The 49er coaching staff knows the players better than us armchair GMs and coaches.

I hope that upgrading the FS position is a major priority this off-season.
