Singletary new Rams DC?

singletary was a joke of a coach. I don't see how any organization in the NFL would actually consider hiring him for anything more than a LB coach.

Rooney rule doesn't apply to coordinator hires(yet).

Maybe he practiced X's and O's. He's had plenty of film watching time ti get it right.
His forte must be LBs (if he has one) which they're pretty strong in, but still not scurred. Sign him now Rams, I love it!
You guys may hate to admit it but hes the reason our defense is where it is...

No its not
Drafting Aldon, Culliver, signing Whitner and Rogers, developing Bowman, etc is the reason why our defense is great. They all (especially Aldon and Bowman) took us from above average to great.

This.
Bowman, Brooks, and McDonald would probably still be on the bench and we'd be starting Brock at CB if Singletary was still here.

And don't forget Taylor Mays. Starting SS.

Then they can do that STUPID drill where the players get hurt.

That would be a start.

Interview:

"Coach Singletary, Sir, have you any plans to alter training so that players are less likely to become paralysed and/or incur brain damage and therefore lessen our chance of winning games, plus costing the team millions of dollar? You don't need to look at film. A simple yes or no will suffice. In addition, do you possess a watch which can easily be read during the last two minutes?"

I'm the spirit of the Rooney rule. Remember all the hubub about all the hc vacancies filled with whites this off season?
Just when I thought they had a solid defense brewing. That's one less opponent in our way of a division title.
I think he'd be a good hire

Good for the rest of the NFC West.

Nah. He is a good defensive minded coach. There is a reason his name keeps popping up in interviews. He just isn't capable of running the entire team as we saw when he was our HC.
He may actually be a good coordinator if given a chance....

Yeah his brilliance shined brightly trotting Taylor Mays onto the field
