The simple fact is, if they are guilty then they should be suspended. They shouldn't allow the team to indefinitely postpone one of the appeals so that they aren't both our at the same time.

You said it yourself and yet you still don't get it. It's called DUE PROCESS genius. Sherman called on witnesses to defend his argument, therefore changing the format and protocol of the appeal process. As a result, the NFL pushed it back until after the postseason. The NFL, not Pete Carroll, Richard Sherman or anyone on the Seahawks staff/team have anything to do with how it is structured, rather they are just smart enough to know how to navigate it to their advantage.
Jesus, you guys keep this up and Raiders fans will be in danger of losing the "NFL's dumbest fans" title.

I thought Seattle fans already own that title

We're not the dumbest, just the most liberal.

Wait, maybe you're right.

His piss had a banned substance in it. If he is really drinking random water bottles, then he should be sterilized so his particular breed of stupid dies when he does. If his unnamed team mate really crushes up his Aderall to mix it into a drink (which is a stupid thing to do with a time-release drug), then he was probably misusing the drug, too. This should be a slam dunk, floowed by a sever peepee slap.
Cheating Pete , what else is new

And nobody here can truthfully say that they wouldnt want them to.

Theyre postponing the appeals because there isnt total proof that hes guilty. And its true that about what I said. No one would want our top 2 players out and would defend them to the end.

If you believe that fine. Fact is when the appeal is over he will be suspended. I am fine with the league letting them play the rules just doesn't look good on them.
Cheater, cheater pumpkin eater!
Both will miss time. One appealed to prevent both CBs from missing time. Stagger the suspensions and only lose one CB... It's smart.

... still shady. You should not be allowed to choose when you are suspended.

Did we expect any different? Consider where the coach came from, where he bailed out before the axe could fall on him.

It's unfortunate that he didn't suffer the same consequences as the Head Coach who took after him. And to make matters worse, he was given a game that wasn't his to win or the 49er's would have won the division by now.
