Saints took it another level and gave cash for INJURIES.

Also, back then there were no rules really against hitting defenseless receivers or helmet to helmet or roughing the QB. You could hit them 10 seconds after he threw and there wouldn't be a penalty. It was a different NFL. Honestly, I have no problem with players or teams giving money to players if they get an int, ff, fr, td, big it, etc as long as it's a legal hit. Once you start paying players for injuries than you are crossing the line.
