Goodell can overturn a Loss to a Win.....

Shop 49ers game tickets
Does he have the balls to do it? Its in the rule book, its within his authority to make a change.....

That probably wouldn't help him in this cluster*ck of a stalemate between the league and the real officials. I wish he would do it though!
Section 2 Extraordinarily Unfair Acts

COMMISSIONER AUTHORITY Article 1 The Commissioner has the sole authority to investigate and take appropriate disciplinary and/or corrective measures if any club action, non-participant interference, or calamity occurs in an NFL game which he deems so extraordinarily unfair or outside the accepted tactics encountered in professional football that such action has a major effect on the result of the game.

NO CLUB PROTESTS Article 2 The authority and measures provided for in this entire Section 2 do not constitute a protest machinery for NFL clubs to avail themselves of in the event a dispute arises over the result of a game. The investigation called for in this Section 2 will be conducted solely on the Commissioner's initiative to review an act or occurrence that he deems so extraordinary or unfair that the result of the game in question would be inequitable to one of the participating teams. The Commissioner will not apply his authority in cases of complaints by clubs concerning judgmental errors or routine errors of omission by game officials. Games involving such complaints will continue to stand as completed.

PENALTIES FOR UNFAIR ACTS Article 3 The Commissioner's powers under this Section 2 include the imposition of monetary fines and draft-choice forfeitures, suspension of persons involved in unfair acts, and, if appropriate, the reversal of a game's result or the rescheduling of a game, either from the beginning or from the point at which the extraordinary act occurred. In the event of rescheduling a game, the Commissioner will be guided by the procedures specified in Rule 17, Section 1, Articles 5 through 11, above. In all cases, the Commissioner will conduct a full investigation, including the opportunity for hearings, use of game videotape, and any other procedure he deems appropriate.

They say they will release an explanation. They will defend the call even though everyone knows its b******t
It will be an opportunity for Goodell and the league to spin the botched call to make it sound half way legit. I would guess somewhere along the line of, 'a judgement call within the confine of the rules' explanation BS. If they can make it like the call could swing either way, then they will stick with it and move on. But the millions of people that saw the game knows and can see that it was INT and touchback. The only people that are OK with the call and subsequent 'explanation' are the Seattle players, coaches, fans, and the legally blind.

The league has said there is no process for an appeal by the Packers, aka the outcome can't and won't be changed.
if he overturns it what happens here:

Casinos lose to everyone (well, at least those who were smart enough to cash in quickly or, on the other side of the spectrum, didn't throw away their ticket). I remember something similar happened in '08 in a Steelers-Chargers game. They changed the final score after the game which changed who covered. I think they did that in a USC game last year too. But they have yet to change a final score where the winner would be changed.

I think it takes balls to NOT overturn the game
Not a chance they overturn that game.
i wish we can overturn goodell.
League already ruled that the Refs were "correct" in their call. Not getting overturned. It should though, but either way it's going to create a massive public outcry to get the real refs in.

League admitted the offensive pass interference should've been called thus nullifying the play but that since it was not called the ruling on the field and subsequent replay review was done correctly
