Ref lockout may last into season

League executives said Monday they now foresee starting the 2012 regular season with replacement officials. At a time when players are openly criticizing replacement officials and coaches are privately grumbling about them, the NFL and NFL Referees Association are not making any progress towards a new deal, according to sources familiar with the talks. Economics play a part in the stalemate, but league brass said there are two other issues hanging over and hanging up negotiations. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/8266445/nfl-executives-foresee-opening-2012-regular-season-replacement-refs This is bad how come they can't come to some kind of agreement. The NFL is a 9 billion dollar entity, why can't they hire full time refs. These replacements are gonna f**k up some games just watch and see.

The NFL makes billions of dollars off revenue, fans, tickets, tv, etc... each year and are too damn cheap to get the regular refs, who may not be the best, but are clearly better then these so called "replacement refs", I swear If I didn't have the NFL Ticket free this year, I would be all over the NFL about money back if this goes deep into the season.
