I agree ...even though I worked in Law Enforcement for 6 years, there are some real a*****es out there in uniform, I worked with some real a*****es that liked being a cop "TOO MUCH" and took their Jobs way too seriously .,.....I worked with one Jerk that came into to work on his day off out of nowhere , just to arrest his own wife because she was out drinking with her friends ...charge her with "Disorderly Conduct" ...IMO the biggest a*****e cops are the ones that wear T-Shirts that say POLICE OFFICER in public on their days off

especially a off duty cop who was probably at a night club just to arrest someone.
WTF is a off duty cop doing at a club sober? (unless he's security)

now that i think about it. i bet that cop has called a few black guys the N word.

I assume you aren't a cop or know any on a personal basis. Why would an off duty cop go to a club and not drink...maybe he doesn't drink or is the DD for the group he is with, happens a lot.

I'm sure he has been called a pig by a few guys as well.

Try again, actually when i was in the military tons of my friends were cops. Growing up one of my uncles was a cop (now he's only a few steps below chief) . Now one of my good friends is a C.O.
i have 2 friends from high school who are cops. and i have hung out with many cops.

those that i know NONE of them would go to a bar and not drink, because they dont want to be around "drunk idiots".And if they did they wouldnt be trying to pick fights. Being that a cop is a high enough stress job they choose to want to relax and when they do go out its a chill environment.

It doesn't matter if your asked to leave you leave. I bet the club had to get everyone out by a certain time or risk losing the liquor liscence. What's more important a rich douche's ego or keeping your business open?

you must not hang around many clubs. its a PRIVATE location ANYONE can be inside at ANY time. This sounds like a egotistical DH probably racist jealous cop. I bet AP had all kinda white girls all on his D all night and that dude didnt like it. lol

i knew a cop that was like that when he was off duty. whenever we went out he just felt obligated (or "entitled" depending which person in our group you asked) to take care of everyone else (even though there were other responsible drivers designated, or plans for taxi).................. he'd get pissed of at the guys for acting crazy and showed concern for the women we were with for doing the same thing.................

he stopped getting invites to go out after a while........................

I'm not describing a douche bag, which that guy clearly was. Asking why anyone would go to a club and not drink is kind of stupid...aren't cops allowed to go out and have fun? Some people don't need to drink to have a good time with people.

no doubt they're allowed to, and i'm not saying theyr'e all the same, i've met good and bad cops, but i think for some, being a cop is how they have fun.

I know a lot of them and maybe its just the area, they all like being cops but don't push it on people. If fights have broken out and the security is overwhelmed they would jump in to help, but they aren't looking for fights or problems. Normally when people find out they are cops they ask them a million questions, which is kind of funny.

You are exactly right. Going out to a club for fun is the last thing i want to do. Most cops i know and myself included hang out at home or another cops house just to avoid the same b******t we put up with all day while working.

Actually he nailed it right on the head. According to TABC which is the agency that regulates club activities and liquor laws, the club closes at 0200 and must be emptied by 0230 except for workers. The club owners expect this to be done by the police they hire so they dont get in trouble with TABC and the cops dont care who you are. The club is closed and it is time to go. There are after hours clubs to go to if you still want to party but they follow different rules, the biggest being they cant serve alcohol. Believe me....i work plenty of clubs and have plenty of sports stars come and go...the club owners are not going to lose their liquor license for any star.

I have a friend who's a cop and he keeps it under wraps for that exact reason.

You sure are making alot of accusations. I still stand by the fact if your asked to leave you freakin leave. I still think AP is a douche because he didn't do as the proprietor asked him to do.

I just love how people automatically assume the off duty cop is a racist, egotistical ass and AP must be in the right because his attorney says so and no attorney lies.

well i have been inside many night clubs after hours (and not after hour spots) all over the country more of a who you know thing.

And i have also had DH bouncers rushing me out when i see others hanging out.

And i agree with you if you're asked to leave you leave.
ALL I WAS SAYING IS the dude was probably acting like a DH and its no telling if the Owner or whoever told him they would let him out the back door. Nobody said AP was gonna stay and hang around acting like a drunk idiot. if thats the case he deserved to be locked up and punched a few times.
