I agree that he'll kill himself in a few years or so from now. He won't be able to handle the thought of blowing through 80 million & getting a $75,000 a year job. He was such an a** the NFL will distance themselves from him as will all reputable commercial endorsements. If he's lucky he might be on commercial for Rent-A-Center!!! LOL! This is a sad story but true and I'd be lying if I said I didn't suspect this mess was coming. Hopefully, other athletes will learn from T.O's poor choices!

I don't know why, but still hearing news about Owens bugs me. Actually I know why - it is irritating that some of the lamest people are celebrities in this country, getting plenty of face time in the media. The dude is just...lame.

Always good to make light of serious mental illness, that someone like Seau had, by suggesting that anyone in his situation would just kill themselves. Oh no a $75,000 salary is SUCH a BAD LIFE .
Broke former NFLers, falling from a building near you. Warren Sapp and Owens can jump at the same time, it's the only way they're going to get out of the absolute hell that is a "regular" person's life.
Who the hell is Dr. Phil. Come on guys, seriously you watch that crap? TO is an ass period. The women he picked are gold diggers. Lots of you people in here must watch a lot of soap operas by the comments you make. Screw this stuff, talk football, some fans have become disgusting like TO is. One comment said he loved TO are you kidding me? You cant even call TO a prick, as a prick is part of a man, and he in no way is a man, TO is a hemroid, a big pain in the ass. I cant believe anyone can possible like that guy. Geez give us football MEN a break go find your "man crush" somewhere else. And TOs women are just as bad, only different.

I personally don't like it how T.O cries about not having a father, and talks about how his grandmother had to raise him.
Then he turns around and hasy 4 kids with 4 different women and he doesn't even know one of the children!
He knows exactly what the kids are going through, he is a trip.
He will committ suicide soon, as this all seems like an act of hopelesness on his part and that is sad too.
He only identifies as a football player and that is gone, poor kids.
These kids don't only need $, they need a father.
As despicable as his behavior has been both on and off the field, I feel sorry for him. He is symptomatic of a problem that is nearly epidemic in America; children growing up in an environment where there is not a full-time father figure in the home. Having lacked that influence in his life, as is all-to-often the case, he has replicated what he grew up with. So while that does not excuse his behavior, it underscores a change in direction that needs to occur in America. Sadly, I don't see it happening.
Every time you walk through a mall, every store display is blatantly selling sex. Even stores that cater to the middle-school age level have filled their windows with soft porn. Over the last two weeks, Hollister has been bagging customer purchases in a bag with an image of a shirtless young man/teen with his pants down so low he obviously had to shave to prevent showing public hairs. Abercrombie and Victoria's Secret make the same appeal. The message is clear: "Looking sexy is everything." If you aren't sexy, you have nothing to offer.
Without strong parental influence and counseling, kids grow up believing that ultra sexy is the only way to look and gain peer acceptance. Nothing, or very little is left to the imagination, and when they act out what they see advertised, we see Terrell Owens situations all over the country. Yet, when people complain they are accused of "censorship." Get used to Terrell Owens and the many other celebrities with multiple children that they have dumped on society, it is going to be with us for a long time unless people begin to be more responsible parents.
Drop that no father stuff. Plenty of us grew up without fathers. That's the main reason i make sure I'm full time participant in my child's' life b/c i didn't want her to deal with what I had to. At least he had a grandma that took care of him. I got friends that had nobody but the foster system.
Children, both boys and girls, growing up without a father in their life are at a significant disadvantage. That doesn't mean it is impossible but the statistics on many areas show that lacking a father is a common denominator in children who have problems in adulthood.
Good for you that you are being a father to your own child. Sounds like you learned a lesson Owens did not.
