There is an article about how people in Minnesota's F/O noticed he would leave early and work the bare minimum.

Singletary I think is a good person and he helped turn around VD's career... he just didn't have the scheme, Nolan I guess I could care less for though when he first took over I had high hopes

VERY interesting that Harbaughs epic meltdown came vs. Rich Gannon. Two years ago I was hoping Alex would turn into Gannon and after looking into Harbaughs career I saw a parralel there, too.
