Evan Silva @evansilva
Funny, Sage Steele just said on an ESPN that the #Colts have "decided to retain" Jim Caldwell and will interview Spags for DC job.

Roman watch starts again
MaioccoCSN Matt Maiocco
Two names wouldn't be surprised to see linked to Colts opening to begin developing QB Andrew Luck: Marty Mornhinweg and ... Greg Roman.

I think Mornhiweg has more clout, but the Stanford connection gives Roman a better-than-usual shot.

Roman at HC and the current Stanford-Coach as OC.
Or Hue Jackson at HC.

Roman won't leave for another OC position. He's got his heart set on a college HC position and will more then likely be in the running for next seasons NFL HC openings if and when we have another amazing season next year.

Agreed. There is little to gain for Roman to do a lateral move to another team. It's not like Harbaugh is a credit hogger. Once the 49ers become perennial contenders, Roman would have a lot of options. There is actually more risk going to the Colts. If he doesn't turn around the offense within two years, he'll be a scapegoat.

i'm pretty sure he means Roman might be a candidate for their HC position.
