Who was it then? The drops and turnovers have nothing to do with the offensive coordinator

this. certainly this very sad event wasn't good for the team. but having a bad defense was a bigger reason for the Packers downfall. Not to mention they had been coasting for weeks and came up against an experienced, confident, hot team that has been playing elimination games for weeks, while the Packers were resting and filming "Discount Double Check" commercials.

so if they won, his death would've been the reason? i figured they were going to play extra hard for their OC, but i'm not sure that's the reason why they lost.

Giants won because they are the better, more complete team, just like us over the Saints. I reversed and picked the Packers at the last second, but I said even then that the Giants' A game is MUCH better than the Packers' A game. And they didn't even play their best, because their run game and pass rush was lacking for most of the game. Take out the tampering by the refs and it would've been a 44-6 blowout. Even factoring in the drops, it shouldn't have been close.

Yeah, even as a Favre hater I admit that's one of the best games a QB has ever played.
