No, he left SF because San Diego gave him the best offer money-wise and the assurance he would be a starter, which SF was not prepared to do.

You don't understand, the Chargers didn't make the playoffs BECAUSE of Takeo. The guy is cursed, watch him go to the Packers next year and they'll be out of the playoffs too.

he gave sorta props to the Niners on the local San Diego postgame interviews....says the bolts are sorta like the Niners 2008-10 in that they're not far off talent-wise in getting back to playoff calibre (probably an oblique gibe @ outgoing chargers coach(es)
