It'll take AJ Smith 10 years to draft any kind of talent.

Originally posted by OnTheClock:He had built a good team in the past but lately it has been just terrible. He hired Marty. Then fired him after a 14-2 season. they lost after their bye to the patroits, who eventually won the superbowl. He is responsible for hiring Turner. If you say Norv is no good, then you have to point the finger at the guy who hired him. They hired Manusky as D coordinator from us, and he wasn't even a good D coordinator, he just stops the run. They let Brees go, Michael Turner, Sproles, etc...

AJ Smith has been terrible lately with his FA and Draft handlings. I laughed at several of his most recent 1st rounders, particularly Larry English who I was SCREAMING "BUST" about all over this board.
His most recent years have been FILLED with a monstrous amount of "reach" picks. Jonas Mouton on the second this year? SERIOUSLY? He's not even a fit for the 3-4. He was valued as a 5th rounder at best. He didn't play in any games this year, and went on IR in Week 3.
1st rounder Larry English has been a bust.
1st rounder Craig "Buster" Davis was a bust.
1st rounder Antoine Cason has been getting roasted by opposing QB's, looking like he might be a bust too.

shows how much he knows. NO ONE is going to trade for Bradford and his salary. Rams are stuck with him for awhile.

Yeah well good luck trading that contract and a QB that had like 6 tds all season long. Not a huge market for that.

Exactly. No one is taking on Bradford's salary. No one. What did he sign? 5 years at 75 million? Good luck.
