I don't understand the point of waiting this long, because the writing was on the wall when their owner flew all the way out here to get Harbaugh. Sparano was a dead man walking since.

A lot of people have been saying it's not all his fault. If sitting back, how much of it has to do with the front office for not equipping the team with depth at QB. I think the fault of the coaching staff is giving Peyton all this offensive authority (a reason why I think 49ers/Peyton aren't a good fit).
