LOL. What? Why is this even a question? If we can get the Lions to win maybe we can actually start talking about home field advantage. Of course we have to win out. And I think it's real possible we can lose some more games. But I think psychologically it would be good for the 49ers and the league if the Packers just lost 1 game. It would show they can be beat. There is something intimidating about an undefeated team. In the back of your mind you question whether or not you can beat them. That's never good.

Dont want home field advantage, I want to go to Green Bay and finally win a game. Get revenge for all those losses to the packers.

I do want home field advantage. GB knows how to play in the extreme cold. They play in it every year. It's overrated on the WZ how much cold, wind, snow will slow down Aaron Rodgers and those Wr's / Te's. If anything they are much more accustomed to playing in it than we are. And their stadium is loud. I would much rather face them at home.

I will NEVER root for the Packers. I hate them more than any other team in the entire league aside from Dallas -- where it's a tie. Barring an extremely rare exception, like a team other than the 49ers playing for their 6th ring or later, before we get ours, I will NEVER root for them. EVER.
Aside from all that, I kind of have an outside affinity for the Lions. Jim Schwartz being a baby doesn't make me like the Lions less, just Jim Schwartz. I like a lot of the players on that team, it's not their fault their coach overreacted. The Lions team plays tough, nasty football. If our team had a "dirty" label, none of us would care.
On top of all this, anyone who is 49ers fan should be rooting for Detroit to win this game, because Green Bay losing would put us in 1st place in the NFC.
