NFL considers kickoffs at 35-yard line, touchbacks to 25-yard line

lol so stupid and pointless.

lets make it easier for the play to be dead before it ever really starts because we don't want anyone to get hurt. WTF they why even bother playing the game. Just shut the damn NFL down commish because you are just killing the sport that I love.

Kickoffs are the most dangerous part of the game. A;; you arm chair tough guys need to calm down...... There will be more touch backs. big Deal, if it protects the players a little better I am all for it....

There will still be returns but most of the time kickoff returns are mundane anyway.

You all sound like a bunch of old baseball fans.. There ruining the game with this DH, and whats up with inter-league play. that's not baseball....

and oh yeah, kickoffs started from the 35 yard line before it was at the 30

did you b***h when it was originally at the 35 yard line. Hester and Cribbs will still do their thing...... Plus, there is still punt returning....... Its not that big of a change........

They used to clothesline runners lets, bring that back too, because it was more entertaining......

let's just put them in pink tutu's and make it flag football because any player can get hurt on any given play. Oh we can't do flags either because someone might get their feelings hurt for their flags being pulled. Listen, football is a sport that is meant to entertain. These players know that they run the risk of being injured. Changing all of the rules and turning it into a bunch of sissies running around is doing nothing but hurting the sport. If you want to watch a bunch of pansies run around playing grab ass then by all means go watch water polo or some s**t. This is FOOTBALL!!!!! a damn contact sport where the bigger the hit the better. If you can't handle that then --------------------------------> there is the door.

i have less problem with the kickoffs being at the 35 than i do with touchbacks starting at the 25. why give the offense five extra yards?

Thats pretty dumb rule change for the NFL considering they want more scoring. I guess they want fewer kick returns, they might as well just ban kickoffs all together.

Man this is BS. I can't believe this needless rule change.
