He throws one int and doens't appear to just forget about and move on to the next play. Then he makes another mistake and just loses himself. That's maturity. Right now Cincy clearly has more talent on offense. The panther o line has regressed and Deangelo Williams isn't too much better then Ben Jarvis. Cam needs to step it up either way. And you can't take away from Dalton he's making the throws and plays that need to be made.
I agree. My point was Cam Newton needs to be groomed and trained to be an efficient pocket passer. But instead they are trying to turn him into an option-running gun slinger which IMO is an awful move.
Additionally, their GM is screwing up the team with what he is spending on the backfield. They just locked up $90 million on their RBs for the next 4 years, thats about a 20 million dollar cap hit just on their RBs each year for the next 4 years

Thats about 1/6 of their entire cap space.....And some people think all these top NFL WRs are going to beg to take a pay cut to play with Cam, lol.
And this is on top of Carolina already having salary cap issues:
"Carolina already was looking at salary-cap trouble in future seasons. With Stewart's deal,
the Panthers now have $134 million committed toward the 2013 salary cap. "

But nooooo, some people think Cam is a magical wizard who is going to dominate the NFL regardless.
A comparison is the 49ers have about a $10million dollar cap hit for their RB position.
Edit: Another line from the same article:
"Heck, the Panthers already have
$110 million committed toward the 2015 cap and that's with only 18 players already under contract for that year."
The cap this year is about $120 million....
