Cleveland Browns cornerback Eric Wright had his somewhat disappointing 2010 campaign come to an end on Monday, as he was placed on injured reserve, per Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal.
Wright had entered 2010 seeking to cash in after showing signs of greatness through last season. However, he was overtaken by rookie Joe Haden in the starting lineup as he battled the knee issue that would ultimately sideline him. It's unclear if the Browns -- or any team -- are willing to dole out a lucrative deal for him coming off the injury, though he will certainly draw interest around the league if their offer is not to his liking.

would trade a 4th or lower for a young cb who showed flashes of greatness and can return to it in a change of scenery, especially when were a team starving for cb help

I think he's a free agent, so we'd just have to show him the money.

I have seen him get burned a few times on the Red Zone channell. Hell I think the loss in overtime to the jets was due to his poor effort at tackling. From what little I have seen this guy is worse than Clements at getting beat.
