I don't think he called the plays in Philly though, so I'm not all that sold on him being an OC. Rather have Turner if he's fired, stick with a Singletary free Mike Johnson, or whoever our next HC brings in.

Mike Silver (Yahoo Sports) was on with Ralph and Tom last week and took the time to mention the Viking situation. It sounded like Childress has very little idea about how to deal with people. He has a pretty good offensive mind but uses play calls to reward or punish people, pretty much on his own whim.
Silver is pretty well connected with a lot of players and teams and he said the Viking locker room is a mess.

The difference between Childress and Sing is that our players love Sing, even if they don't like his coaching, they love him as a person. THat is why they don't directly attack him.
Everyone hates Childress as a person and when s**t hit the fan, they all just went after him.
