I consider myself a reasonable Alex Smith supporter (some probably think this breed is as possible to exist as the Pacific Northwest Tree Octopus).
Here's how I see the slippery pink football having an effect:
• the bright pink will make the ball easier to see, and therefore, less likely to be tipped and turned into an INT (potentially less INTs)
• the slipperiness of the ball will decrease the accuracy with which it is thrown (potentially more INTs)
=
It's clear to me we better just hope the Raiders are color-blind and butter-fingered.
