So apparently this can't work in KC? KC was a superbowl champ long before the Pats or 49ers ever dreamed of it.

Crennel is a very good D-Coordinator, and I believe Weiss was pretty successful as an OC. They just weren't very good HCs.

What makes you think the Pats or 49ers were dynasties before they hired solid coaches. Belechik failed miserably in Cleveland, and Walsh was passed over for HC in Cincinnatti (thank God).

So coaches that come out of organizations that mentored them can't make it on their own. Maybe you should tell that to the OCs that the 49ers had that went on to very good careers. Let's see first there was Sam Wych who took Cincy to the SB after he left SF. Then there was Holmgren who did the same with Green Bay and Seattle. Oh, and that guy that just signed on with the Redskins was a OC for the 49ers and won two SBs in Denver.

Our own DC, Seifert not only took a BW team to the SB and won, but also built his own and won.

Just saying, don't laugh if these guys turn around KC. It may not happen tomorrow, but with a good personnel man and proven coaches you can do a lot.
