this sounds like a cliche post...but what if the niners inquire about trading alex smith ...the guy needs a fresh start and his time here is apparently done...i'm sure the niners wouldn't get 1st round value but anything not higher than 3rd would be good. im not a math whiz either...haven't seen how his salary would impact miami or if its a trade friendly contract at all. so don't burn me on that just a crazy thought that came to my mind.
