The 2008 Rookies Thread

Like the thread we had last season use this one to discuss the league's 2008 rookies and track their progress.




Kwame Harris Jr...oops I mean Gosder Cherilus (who wears the same number as Kwame) had a brilliant debut to his career with 1 holding and 2 false start penalties.

Browns TE Martin Rucker looked pretty good catching 5 balls for 70 yards including a 28 yarder.

Pats rookie LB Shawn Crable recorded half a sack and a INT. (He also had 3 tackles)

Cherilus looked like garbage, too early to say anything definitive but he needs to step up

Since he was out all last year, this year is technically his first.

Robert Meacham looked VERY good.

Well...he wasn't really "out"--he just wasn't allowed to play because the coaches didn't think he was ready.

Calais Campbell made some plays last night, he was a rook who stood out.

his stats didn't show it all yesterday ( 4 rush 13 yds) but i think Jamaal Charles looks like he's gonna be a stud. just the way he ran yesterday showed that's he's gonna be a great back. if only the O-Line can open some holes.
