Excellent Mock

One of the best mocks I've seen so far is by Charlie Campbell on Walter's Football mock data base. Here it is:

I did question him WRT Donte Jones...very good player, but I'd think Harbs would want some more size up front. Whaddya think? I'd love to come out of the 1st rd with a Jesse Williams, Hankins or another "big" who can play both inside and out. The rest of the picks are spot-in, IMHO.

Not a fan of this draft at all. Like Cyprian but not in the first. Hunt is a project it seems. Mathieu in 3rd would be a mistake I think. I just think its far from excellent.

I agree that this is a terrific draft. Datone Jones can easily gain 20 lbs and be an effective inside/outside versatility guy who doesn't have to come out for 70% of the plays.

Pretty sure you're looking at a different mock draft than the one that he provided. In the link that I clicked on, he had Datone Jones in the first, Logan Ryan in the second

I really like this draft even though I watched Wagner chronically under-acheive this year and don't completely get why everyone has them taking Schwenke from Stanford. Am I missing something? Do they need another smallish interior o-lineman? They already have Kilgore and Looney.

I dont think anyone has Schwenke from Stanford being taken. However, Schwenke from Cal is another story. He was great at the Senior Bowl and weighs 307

I like Jones from UCLA.

He looks explosive off the line.

Sam Schwartzstein is the Stanford center, he's a a late round/UDFA prospect.

As mentioned, Schwenke is the CAL guy and a much higher rated prospect.

I think it's an ok Mock. They seem to pick up most of the niners picks around the senior bowl, when we know Baalke really only lays attention to tape.

Whoever has the best tape and physically tough has the best chance of becoming a niner.

I dont see us drafting Austin in the 1st round, we already have a player like him in Jenkins.. It'll just be another waste..

Not sure I would be LOL at the team that just beat us in the SB....plus I think this kid will be a good player...that thing about his girlfriend was stupid...
But these guys at Walter football are good and know their stuff...Great mock...
