Very True
I am predicting the Niners will take Josh Gordon with their third round draft pick for the supplemental draft. He is projected to be a 3rd to 4th round pick in the supplemental draft, so is he is available to the Niners they will take him. The team will carry a high number of WR's, and only two TE's, with Dobbs being the blocking TE.
WR
Moss- signed for 2012
Crabtree- Signed for 2012, 2013, 2014
Manningham Signed for 2012, 2013.
AJ Jenkins- Signed for 4 years
Josh Gordon- Big WR to learn under Moss
Ted Ginn- 1 year KR/PR
Kyle Williams- Cut
Chris Owusu- PS
I might be wrong but we also have the Panthers 3rd round pick?

Everyone wants to cut Kyle for last year but he's been one of the more impressive guys in OTAs. I'd rather part ways with Ginn and make due for one year then let a younger, better player go.

KW isaint going anywhere. If moss isaint as advertised, or there is an injury to #1 or #2 he may well challenge for a starting role, and might do so regardless. At the very least he is gonna see considerable amount of time from the slot. People are angry because of the return mistakes, and blinded to his receiving skills because of it. Dude can and will ball.
If Gordon was drafted IMO it probably means Bye Bye ginn, and we still carry six.

Why?
Ginn is a better KR/PR than Williams. If that is the primary role, yiou keep Ginn. The window for championship is small, you need the best talent at every position. If you think Ginn is the best KR/PR, he needs to be kept.

iMO there are other teams that have a much greater need at WR that will pick Gordon before the Niners get a chance. The Dolphins, Vikings, Jaguars and the Cowboys are four I can think of right off the top of my head that have a huge need at WR.

I guess RG3 has been lobbying for the skins to take Gordon.
Draft starts at 10 am PT. I'm guessing we'll hear what happened this afternoon?

Anybody read this article?
http://sfo.scout.com/2/1201835.html
For being called the Niners Digest, you'd think they'd remember that Steve Young was the Bucs' first round pick of the 1984 supplemental draft.
Unforgiveable!

Cleveland isn't a surprise. Round 2 kind of is (at least to me).

im happy im not alone now. Kyle Williams is one of those guys that gets overshadowed. Between the Moss and Crab show and the articles about how Jenkins is looking bad, KW only gets like one sentence about how good he's doing. I honestly think he's the 3rd best reciever on the team, the only reason I could see him behind MM is because he got more PT in NY and that helped him develop more. Im just sayin, get KW some playing time its gonna be good. If Jenkin's wasnt the 1st rd pick, im sure he'd be the one getting cut. Last year we didnt have enough talent, and now we have too much
QUESTION TO EVERYONE: umm what ever happend to Brett Swain? I remember us re-signing him a long time ago but you never EVER hear his name
