anyone else think they really had K. Wright as their #1? When they saw that the titans picked him Baalke put his hands on his head and Jim turned to him and said "f**k" i could be wrong but i think he was their first choice.

I don't beleive anyone when they know the camera is on them.
Movin on. Can we get a list of best players available for the remaining rounds?

Na the pick was Irvin the seahawks screwed us over he would have been a star as an olb. AJ Jenkins is a better prospect than Wright in every way

Aldon Smith was at least projected to go in the top 15-20 picks. Jenkins was projected as a 3rd round pick. There's a big difference there.

It was all over the internet all day and they Lombardi said it during the draft that Irvin was there guy. His measurables were off the charts even better than clay mathews with longer arms. I think the team envisioned teaching Irvin to play olb on 1st and 2nd down and keeping Aldon in his role as a pass rush specialist. As good as Aldons year was it still hasnt been provin yet they he can play all 3 downs and add it in that we still only have 3 olbs on the roster one injury and our pass rush takes a huge step back.

A 3rd round pick was just way off and never made sense. Checkout nfl draft scout.com not the big cbs version but the one with all the prospects times and notes with dates. Go through all the WRs that come to mind and look at the combine and pro day measurables I think you will be happy with what you see. Try to remember that he played in cold weather with sub par qb play.

I think thats because its a terrible fit for them hes a 3-4 lb not a 4-3 de. Could be wrong Im no expert but he will be very undersized at that position

mayock said that irvin cant play on 1st and 2nd downs and is not a stout run defender
why would you draft the same player (like aldon smith) and then only teach one of them how to be an every down player

Harbaugh was chewing tobacco the whole time like a fiend and spitting in a water bottle. Jed, once again, chooses the worst seat in the place to show his ever growing bald spot.
