Im going back ten years just to see what kind of hits and misses there was for this pick.


2001 Colts WR Reggie Wayne -Good pick
2002 Steelers G Kendall Simmons - Bust
2003 Chargers CB Sammy Davis - Bust
2004 Lions RB Kevin Jones - Bust
2005 Steelers TE Heath Miller - Good pick
2006 Colts RB Joseph Addai - Good pick
2007 Chargers WR Craig Davis - Bust
2008 Jets TE Justin Keller - Good Pick
2009 Titans WR Kenny Britt - Good pick
2010 Lions RB Javid Best - TBD but its looking like a bust
2011 Jet DE Muhammed Wilkerson - TBD


Looks like the odds are about 50/50 on this pick in the last ten years.

Interestingly, a TE, WR, or RB seems very common at this pick which bodes well for us!

Agreed. Very interesting. Crossing my fingers for the next Reggie Wayne to be there at #30!

Didn't the Lions trade to get to Jahvid Best? NFI who they traded with. Don't really care.

Traded with the Vikings.

The Lions are responsible for a bust and a TBD. Thats not counting Joey Harrington, Mike Williams, I forgot the other wide receivers name that they drafted really high and ended up on the Cowboys. The Chargers had two bust and the Colts, conversely, had two good picks. I think the organization has something to do with it.

The dude you're probably thinking of is Roy Williams out of Texas who ended up on the Cowgirls. I agree, the organization has to be taken into account.
