As always, great job OTC!!!!!

Quick question, are you worried about Crick's injury history plus "lack of productivity" after Suh left?
Does general projection mean where you think taht the draft will project that player. What is the difference between a projection and a mock draft?
I'm all for it. But how about Garcon or Robinson in FA and Fleener in the first round?

I think he's worth the risk in the late 2nd. His lack of productivity isn't really a lack of productivity at all, it's simply him being injured, so I'm not really concerned. On the field, he is a Justin Smith Jr. -- Plus, when Suh left, Crick's production last year (without Suh) was 9.5 Sacks, 14.5 TFL, 1 FF -- I think he's just fine.

A general projection slots a player within a range. A mock puts a specific player at a specific pick.

If I feel a few players will be taken between say 50 and 60, I will project them perhaps at 53 and 56 respectively as a general "area" instead of an exact slot like you would for a mock draft.

Not planning on doing any FA speculation, but as far what I would like -- sure, getting Robinson and Fleener would be nice. I trust the staff.

Projection is where they will be picked, give or take a couple of spots based on individual team needs and schemes.
I'd be very happy with those picks.
Good Job! I saw that you designated some picks with * and **, can you tell us what those designations mean please?
Nice work, OTC. Will use this projection for future mocks.

If we get Burris in the 7th, I'll go nuts.

Wow that draft would be the perfect draft for the 49ers
Brandon Washington in the 3rd round would be a great pick if he was there
*= Junior
**= Sophomore
Nice work, as always, OTC...

My first impression is that there are a lot of good players in the second and third rounds. If the Niners can find a trading partner, I would be in favor of a slight trade down and getting an extra pick... It will be interesting to see if Baalke, after trading up in previous drafts, can or would be willing to trade down.

Other thoughts...

Tannehill at number 6 is a bit surprising.....ditto Poe and Martin breaking into the top 10. I respect your views a lot and you seemed to go "against the grain" with a number of first round picks. Would love to have a bit more detail on how you arrived at slotting the first 20 players or so if you have the time to do so.

Also, for the many reasons that have been expressed here in the Zone, I would prefer Fleener at 30 than Hill, (although I realize this is not a mock).

That being stated, if the draft unfolded this way, I would be pleased.....very pleased.

Cheers!

Lol, a "projection board".
Would be happy if the niners draft that way.

Question...no inside lb? Think Grant will stay?

Never understood that concept. I look at it as a board of rankings
