Could we possibly be looking at trading up for RG3?

no way rams give their biggest division competition a player like griffin unless they take patrick willis, vernon davis, and two first rounders. Cleveland has griffin in the bag

RG3 got hit with the ugly stick.

Were not an RG3 away from winning the superbowl. We have an above average QB that improved a lot last season theres no reason to do this trade

thats according to this chart

http://www.49erswebzone.com/forum/nfl-draft/46059-draft-value-chart-calculator-see-bottom/

"Howard Eskin ‏ @howardeskin
I'm told by people within Redskins they are prepared to offer picks 1,2 and 3 this year, at least a 1 next year to move up to get RG3 at 2"

Even if this isnt true, there is going to be a huge bidding war for the #2 pick. Expect to give up MUCH more than our 1, 2, and 3, this year plus next years 1 if we want a shot at RGIII.

Just for giggles, I figured it out: It would take the 1, 2, 3 this year plus 1 the next two years assuming they pick #26. And that is even before you calculate in the depreciation value of future picks. I know it is completely improbable but just thought it would be fun to put it in print.
If we do, I will sell you a singing walrus...

Something like this. I doubt that Rams will make a trade with any team in the NFL West.

also harbaugh seems to like this alex kid a lot

an no way we trade up to #2

at work and dont have a link to provide at the moment...harbaugh admitted that he scouted and recruited RG3. He was excited about going to the combine to be able to ask him why he didnt choose them. - sorry if someone already pointed this out didnt have time to read through the pages.
Even if King was referring to us there is no way the Rams trade a quarterback like Griffin within the division

He did and R3 declined. There I just blew a hole all through your theory.

If the interview does happen I'd imagine that the 49ers representative would ask RG3 to do some blow, off of a hooker, on youtube 1 day before the draft. Then and only then he might fall enough for the niners to select him.
the only reason we are talking to RG3 is to get knowledge on Kendall Wright

The Chiefs want Orton to compete with him because he's simply not the same QB when he's not under Charlie. Look at the stat correlation and you'll see what I mean.

I think Orton has a legitimate shot of beating him out if they don't draft a QB early and Orton is re-signed.

cassell had a horrible start because he had a rib injury to start the season and tried playing through it.
