Could we possibly be looking at trading up for RG3?

also harbaugh seems to like this alex kid a lot

an no way we trade up to #2
Someone didn't watch the interview of harbaugh from last week. He said they did try to recruit Griffin and he chose baylor instead of stanford.

This...plus rg3 talked about harbs in his interview today. He said harbs was mad he chose Baylor over Stanford.

more importantly that interview was really Harbaugh talking to RG3 about Kendall Wright.

BS

after the season dalton had?

People act like Dalton had a fantastic season. It was merely average. solid by rookie standards but not spectacular
x2

it was hyped more because of the fact that he was throwing his passes to Green. Green had a monstrous rookie year while Dalton's season good but not great.

LOL.......If Smith had a rookie season like Dalton this board would have him in Canton..... Come on fellas, he made it to the probowl in his first season.

Not sure why you are face palming? To make it into the probowl you have to have recognition from the fans, players and coaches. Sure there are guys that make it that don't deserve it, but thats ususally veterans that are riding on name alone, not rookies.
Vince Young went to the Pro Bowl too......he really turned out to be great.

Vince Young is talented........he's just a head case and doesn't work hard. And I was just using that as one example, not the end all be all. The fact is, Dalton took his team to the playoffs in his first year. 10 and 6 and they played some really tough teams.
Dumb
We better not be.

Tolzien? Yes he will be our savior of the practice squad
Breaking news during the Academy Awards they just announced that the 49ers just signed Alex Smith to a 3year contract and traded him to the St. Rams and gave them our 1st and 2nd rounder of 2012 and our 1st and 2nd rounders of 2013. Plus they receive Michael Crabtree. All for the 2nd pick in the draft so we can grab RGIII
No way, no how. We are sticking w/Alex.

There arer 3 teams that absolutely need a QB - Skins, Browns, Miami.

One team will get Flynn, one team will move up to the 2 or 3 position to take RG3. Browns have the most to offer w/ 2 first round picks. Skins will be offering their first born, knowing Snyder.

Seahawks, Chiefs and Tampa Bay could use a better QB - I'm not sure they could offer enough and the Rams wouldn't trade with them.

I just don't see the Jets going with a rookie BUT I do see them pursuing Mannning- BIG time.

I love Dalton, but it was absolutely shameful that he made the pro bowl. Not because he wasn't good enough -- he was terrific for a rookie, did outstanding -- but the rest of the AFC QBs statistically were embarrassing. Brady really was the only one who I thought truly deserved to be there.

Were not an RG3 away from winning the superbowl. We have an above average QB that improved a lot last season theres no reason to do this trade

thats according to this chart

http://www.49erswebzone.com/forum/nfl-draft/46059-draft-value-chart-calculator-see-bottom/

"Howard Eskin ‏ @howardeskin
I'm told by people within Redskins they are prepared to offer picks 1,2 and 3 this year, at least a 1 next year to move up to get RG3 at 2"

Even if this isnt true, there is going to be a huge bidding war for the #2 pick. Expect to give up MUCH more than our 1, 2, and 3, this year plus next years 1 if we want a shot at RGIII.
