Griffin's stats so far: 224/302 (74.2%) for 3093 yards, 29 TDs, 5 INT. 117 rushes for 478 yards, 5 TDs.
It'd probably help him some if his defense wasn't 10th to LAST in the nation.

Why do we have a thread for a QB prospect we would never draft?

obviously a lot of people still don't believe in Alex or Kaep as future franchise QB's, that's why Luck, Barkley, and Jones get discussed so much.
Robert Griffin III is arguably as good as anyone other than Luck, HUGE test tonight vs Oklahoma

Watching the game right now. All eyes on Griffin and Wright. With three receivers FA's for the 49ers, I want us to get a Steve Smith type of guy. We really don't have one. Kyle Williams? Please. 4th option at best. Size and speed. He has ability, but he is just not as crisp of a route-runner or much of a playmaker.
I wouldn't be opposed to adding another big Red Zone threat. BUT.. Think about it, depending on who we re-sign, we could have all of the following "big" receivers: Morgan, Crabtree, Edwards, Walker, Vernon Davis. Where are the speed/deep threats? Ginn is a FA, Williams is really just a #4. We have nothing else.
Ob a side note right now..
For the life of me, I cannot understand why Baylor would refuse to pass in the red zone on 3rd and 17... You NEED TDs against a team like Oklahoma. Their play-calling is putrid.

It's like they don't see what happens when they let Griffin pass. Almost 200 yards and a TD on 13 passes....
He's averaging 15 yards per attempt.. 25 yards per completion..

Again, putrid playcalling. Going for it on your own 34 in the THIRD quarter?

Kendall WRIGHT. That's just what happens when you're a playmaker.
Griffin has 312 yards and 2 TDs on 12 completions...

RobertGriffen III just shot to top of my Heisman list. I'd draft him HIGH. Can be a franchise QB. Delivery isn't pure; results are. Clutch!

I really like this guy the more I see of him. But why would we pick a running QB 2 years in a row? And how would he be available when we pick? I just think it's a moot point.
