If Okung, Davis, Bulaga and Williams are gone before we pick which is a very strong possibility as MD once said way back when, which OL do we go with or do we? This is just to get a sample of our feelings on drafting an OL in the first. Should we?
I say yes, and take Iupati. Wow, what a surprise there, huh? . Seriously, I am starting to think and agree with some that a RT can be had in rounds two and especially three. There are some fine guys out there who can man the right side immediately.
After hearing Mayock say that Trent Williams can become a pro-bowler on the right side, I became more intrigued by him for us. However, most a pointing to these four OTs going by #10. Waaaaaaahhhhhh!
If we go non-OL in the first, I am hoping for Haden/Spiller! Then grab someone like J. Asamoah at OG in the second and Calloway at RT in the third. A little different, but still pretty good. Two top ten picks, an OG and RT who can start right away too.
What do you guys think?

All four top OTs gone by #10, which OL then?

If those 4 guys are gone, I'd rather go non-OT with those first 2 picks rather than reach for someone at 13 and 16/17. We could probably trade back and grab Charlws Brown or Vlad Ducasse, or stay put and go Jason Fox, Rodger Saffold or Jared Veldheer later.

If it were me, I would go with Spiller at 13 and either Iupati or Brandon Graham at 17 (assuming they were available at those spots, respectively) and look for an OT in the second. No reaching for an OT, and I'm not a big fan of either Charles Brown or Bruce Campbell.

I would also rather not reach for O Line if those guys are gone. C.J. Spiller and a OLB / DE / Safety. Don't reach on position if the top guys are gone. We have other needs. Just let the best draft fall to us and don't get carried away with need. We can get a Tackle later.

Buffaloes starting right tackle just retired so that throws another buyer into the RT draft.

We used to get all of our O-linemen in the later rounds, so why not try it again since you have a new Oline coach from our old school coaching philosophy?

This
I like Iupati with the second first round pick, but I think with the first we should get either a corner like Joe Haden or trade back and pick up Brandon Graham in the late first round. I really like CJ Spiller, but I feel that we can get a better value in the second round with Best and McCluster.

If Haden gets past Cleveland, there's a good possibility he will land to us. I didn't see anybody mention whether they would prefer Haden over Spiller for example at #13.
If Haden gets picked before we do, then I would say Spiller and then Iupati or Graham or trade back. In this draft we have the ability to take two players at the top of their respective positions:
Haden, CB--"#1 NFL Corner"--Mike Mayock
Spiller, RB/RS Two for one deal there!
Trent Williams, RT--"Pro Bowl potential"--Mike Mayock
Mike Iupati, OG--"Pro Bowl potential"--Mike Mayock
Brandon Graham, 3-4 pass rusher--Dominated the SB!
I wouldn't be mad with those two beautiful OLs in the first!
Still, that is one solid list!

If Haden is there he has to be the pick.
