Colby got manhandled by Murphy and Williams. It was rough to watch. Hopefully he figures things out by the next time they meet.

Niner Talk » 49ers select Connor Colby-OG-Iowa with the 249th pick in the 2025 NFL Draft

Anyone have a link to rewatch the game or a condensed version of it?

He has been fantastic which does make me question wtf they see in practice. If nothing else this should prove to Kyle and co they need to get these guys in real games often and early to see what they have.

Think the issue was they had high draft picks last year they couldn't just cut. Now that we've seen his ability, those guys become expendable. I expect us to bring in more talent and could see Collins and West cut or traded. That said, they could turn it around like other young guys have for us.

I get that, and it reminds me of the Kyle to Jed story about Brock being the best, but I wish the culture was regardless of draft position, play who looks the best etc. I think that mindset would have to come from Jed on down. Of course, they would have to look in the mirror about bombing high picks, but if late picks or UDFA are fantastic who gives a f as long as we win. The mid to late round gems have defined this regime.

Maybe we're leaning that way more now. Considering we kept Thompson on the active roster and moved West to IR instead.

Niner Talk » Sebastian Valdez- The Hulk!

He's not getting the Halton love, but having a similar impact. CW and Collins seem to let the OL fire into them, where Halton, Valdez, and Osa take the fight to the other side of the OL. Love it Raheem! Coach 'em up.

between their lack of run game and the D being a bit up and down lately they are highly beatable if we play our game

They're 13th in the league in rushing. While the ground game isn't where I'd like it to be, given Charbonnet and now Price out they've still been able to muster enough out of their rag tag group of running backs to have an impact. Emanuel Wilson isn't bad tbh. He's no McCaffrey but who is

pretty sure Wilson fumbled on like his own 10 and Holani fumbled into his own endzone. if seattle is healthy those guys aren't out there, it's Charbonnet and Price. pretty glaring coming into the game their lack of running backs and cost em the game. looks like someone knows seattle more than the seattle guy what can i say folks

Well, I guess Montana is really going to ghost us after that showing. She needs a VGK win streak before she jumps in here.

What is this stuff about being triggered?

I am only triggered when someone mentions the Canes

I still have that bad taste in my mouth lol

Welcome back! We miss you here especially SunD and Diehard!

God with this paranoia again.

"I know, let's sabotage one of the glamour teams in the league, with armies of supporters all over the world when we're trying to export the game abroad, who just had half of Australia fall in love with... because reasons".

Goodell would not have got so rich if he went about hobbling one of the main sellers for the league he's been hired to expand.

Greenlaw will get a couple of games at least because he's an easy case to make an example of. As I think Cohn wrote correctly, he's basically the NFL's Draymond Green. But it's got nothing to do with Goodell supposedly hating on the 49ers.

Minimum 6 game suspension likely, based on what happened with Myles Garrett years back.

Just can't do that. Insanely stupid.

How you figure?

Honestly, it was a horrible decision by him and I kind of expect a suspension given his history as well.

Niner Talk » "Big Play" Dre Greenlaw is a 49ER AGAIN!

I will always love Saleh, but Raheem has been incredible imo. Way better.

Play of the game imo. This guy is whooping guards and centers every game.

He had a decent rush on 3rd down the next series.

The issue is he looks like a 3rd down edge rush guy only. Getting bullied so far out of the play by a tight end on the TD was weak.

If he hadn't got pushed out of the play there's a chance that play is a stop. Instead the dude waltzed in untouched.

He was never suppose to be a 3 down DE, he's a DPR…he's forced to play more in those situations dude to injuries.

Exactly, with Mykel and Bosa back he slots in perfect.

He got some Dashon Goldson to him.

I get the pure helmet to helmet rule and agree with it, but I miss the 80's when going over the middle meant you may meet your maker.
